Thousands of live animals are trafficked daily on Kijiji classifieds worldwide; even by CONVICTED animal abusers! Kijiji has NO POSSIBLE way to pre-screen sellers, nor ensure that buyers are not supporting ill practices.
Ask Kijiji to HALT the sale of live animals on their website, with the exception of valid / confirmed animal rescue organizations.
We, the undersigned, request that Kijiji immediately STOP the trafficking of live animals on their classified website; with the exception of validated animal rescue groups and organizations.
We are aware that CONVICTED ANIMAL ABUSERS, PUPPY MILLS and BACKYARD BREEDING FACILITIES (with often ill practices) use the website to generate sales. Kijiji is enabling those who shouldn't be in operation to simply maintain a steady stream of income while rescue animals continue to fill shelters.
