The current state government want to privatise SYDNEY FERRIES, however they intend on purchasing new vessels with tax payers money then let a private company take over and run the services as they please and to try and run at a profit.
SYDNEY FERRIES is an icon of our great city and should always stay in public hands as should all public service sectors.

We, the undersigned, call on the NSW Liberal Government to abolish plans to privatise SYDNEY FERRIES and allow a private company to take over one of our cities great icons.
We, the undersigned, also strongly oppose the idea of re-fleeting SYDNEY FERRIES with tax payers money only to let a private company take over and profit from a brand new fleet of vessels that the public have paid for.
