LAG,LLC. Ochelata, OK recently filed for a rate increase on delivery charges with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission in Cause No. PUD 200800078 requesting an increase in its rates, which became effective on customers on Dec. 1, 2008.
According to Jim Anderson, president of LeAnn Gas Company, the charge is to move gas through THEIR pipelines to the customers. As well as expenses such as operating expenses, manpower, equipment, maintenance and inspections. The Notice of rate increase also requests relief of lost, used, and unaccounted for gas, gas purchases, maintenance expenses, and increase in its return check charge, collection fees and disconnection and reconnection fees. The relief requested by LeAnn in its Application granted by the Commission as filed, would result in every customer experiencing a rate increase, including the cost of gas, of about $52.00 per month.
However, the Commission Staff and the Attorney General's office are auditing the filing and a hearing will be conducted to determine the final increase IF ANY...
After submission of several customers recent LAG bills it has become evident that they are experiencing double the amount of the bill due to the increased fees passed by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.
