STOP THE CRACK COCAINE SELLING AND SENIOR CITIZEN INTIMIDATION

• This has been an ongoing issue for thirty four years in the African-American community with the local sheriff’s department. I’ve personally received threats and name has been told through the sheriff’s department for reporting the selling of crack cocaine. I do not intend for my mother’s death to be in vain. She was a champion in her fight for justice.

• My mother’s inroads with drug dealers in the Riverside Community on Roosevelt Road, Erwin, NC in Harnett County was a challenge and her principles for righteous as a human being was not valued.

• She strongly believed in making the community a better place to live and free from the daily slavery of intimidation of drug dealers, harassment, crack cocaine selling, prostitution, stolen goods and fire arms storing by convicted felons.

• She refused to be a victim of the system as neighbors ignored the drug infected community. For nearly thirty four (34) years my Mother, Ms. Hazeline McNeill, was instrumental in calling the Harnett County Sheriff’s Department in references to the illegal activities being conducted. The daily activities contributed to high blood pressure, stroke, and a heart attack.

• The lack of concern and the system failure lead to her death on June 26, 2012.Her last words to me were “them drug dealers.” Her fight for justice as eight two (82) should not be in vain and fruitless that the drug dealers are given the victory.

My mother as well as other senior citizens are afraid to walk outsides their residents and cannot sleep at nights due to the adverse activities. The drug dealers once poured gasoline around her residents and discharged a firearm into the dwelling to intimidate her. Through it all she did not waiver and continued the fight.
