Background (Preamble):
Bankruptcy laws have been in place for decades. Why is the United States not letting these businesses go into bankruptcy and joining in as a creditor with cash to keep them operating until they can correct this mess.
We say stop this buy out of the private sector by our taxes and let the system work itself out!

Petition:
To all elected officials and those who have influence in stopping the current bailout.
We the undersigned ask that you stop all current bailout efforts and let these companies go into bankruptcy. Then help them by going in as a creditor and supplying operating cash giving time to correct or even sell them as the bankruptcy laws have done for the last several decades in situations of downturn such as the one we are experiencing now.
We understand that the government would then be a creditor and not an owner as they are now of many of our major financial and business institutions.
