There has been patrols notified of speeding vehicles on Hillpine Rd., as well as the portable radar trailer set up. Both in an attempt to slow vehicle traffic. Neither have improved the situation.
We, the undersigned, call on the Town of Cheektowaga to install stop signs at the intersections of Hillpine/Ashleaf & Hillpine/Butternut. Hillpine Road in South Cheektowaga is long enough where cars exceed the posted 30mph speed limit. Installing stop signs at these corner will slow traffic to make it safer for children and pedestrians.
As a precedent, there already are stop signs on Rushford/Ashleaf & Rushford/Butternut - which run parallel to Hillpine
