In 2014, the government set up baited drum lines on the coast of Western Australia, this is highly inhumane and not right. Without sharks, the ocean will overpopulate and the food chain will be out of balance. Not to mention, the nets are very expensive to put up and are a waste of tax money. Since 2000, there has been 15 fatal shark attacks across our coast, the chances of being fatally bitten by a shark are 1 in 40,000, very low right? Doesn't it seem unjust to kill hundreds of sharks for 15 people?
