This petition is to raise objections to the unnecessary accreditation and residency requirement for immigrant female doctors, which hinder them to be an active and useful part of the Canadian community. The proposed development will include domestic residences.

These female immigrant doctors are well-educated and hard working individuals who earned their professional degrees in a competitive educational background with a rich and diverse working experience with limited resources in all field from General Practitioners to Gynecologists, Obstetricians and Pediatrics.

If these were given accreditation in an easy and practical way they would be a useful members of the society and Canadian citizens will take advantage from their services. This means that instead of 1 doctor for 5 patients there would be more doctors, which could save us sitting for a long period of hours in clinics and hospitals.

These foreign trained doctors, are leading miserable lives here. They are struggling to survive. Some of them are working in low skilled and low paid jobs.
Anti- discrimination legislation needs to be applied to accreditation and re- certification bodies to stop these agencies from creating unnecessary barriers for qualified immigrant professionals.

Please sign this petition to register to prevent female immigrant doctors to suffer from very long time period and huge amount of money required for their accreditation.

Thank You.
