At the centre there is a crèche service where you can leave you child for a small charge and use then centres facilities this for many years has proved to be a popular service and still is.
people who have small children can leave the children and use the centre these types of people are trying to lose weight/regain fitness after injury/for health reasons/maintain fitness/regaining fitness after baby for work reasons.
The local council have decided to reduce the all day crèche to just 2 mornings a week and another review in 12months which will more than likely mean the closure of the crèche altogether.
With the loss of this service many people will be unable to use then centre or any other centres as this is the only place with a crèche in North Solihull. This will mean in the long term people will be unable to lose weight/regain fitness/health reason the list goes on.
North Solihull has a high rate of obesity surly they should be promoting the service to help people lose weight not closing it down.
We the undersigned want the creche at North Solihull Sports Centre to remain open full time.
We also want the centre to promote the service to encourage more people to use the creche and help the fight against obesity.
