Everyday landlords are discriminating against possible tenants and their pets, service and/or assist dogs.
They constantly break the laws!
We, the undersigned, ask that the Housing Authority, local City and State, Humane Society, and Gov. Scott get involved to force a STOP ON BREED & SIZE RESTRICTIONS.
People and their beloved animals have nowhere to go anymore, because the landlords place more and more restrictions upon the possible tenants. First it was one breed and size, now they keep adding more.
This forces families and their animals to part with each other. It's not fair to the human nor our animals, that are so many times a true life saver to us and others.
If landlords place these restrictions, we are forced to find another suitable home...but where? Others are prohibited from having dogs also. The animal shelters are understandably over filled. What happens when people have to move? Well, they try to find a suitable home for their beloved animals, and if they can't...
Well then they are left behind as so many of them. They roam the streets and are left to die.
It is time STOP ON BREED & SIZE RESTRICTIONS.
