This petition is designed to hopeful enforce the BOP to place their inmates within the suggestion of the BOP's handbook, placing the inmate within that inmates 500 miles distance. Especially for the inmates that have visits on a regular basis.
Some inmates are still trying to raise their families. BOP is moving inmates with regular weekend visit that are within the 500 miles, now 1700 miles are further from their families and friends. Making it impossible to receive any visits.
We, the undersigned, are requesting the BOP to follow their handbook and place inmates within 500 miles within the inmates home plan. Especially those inmates who have regular visits.
