Legalize Recreational Marijuana Use and Ban Marijuana Profiteers In Michigan

This petition is a Ballot Proposal to legalize Recreational Marijuana Use and BAN MARIJUANA PROFITEERS.

1. To Ban any group of investors whether profit or non-profit from obtaining any licensure at all related to the marijuana business whether it be medical or otherwise.
This includes licensing of grow facilities, distribution centers and or dispensaries.

2. To ban investment groups from starting any for profit or non-profit organizations for the purpose of obtaining licensure as a marijuana grow facility, distribution center or dispensary.

3. To legalize recreational use of marijuana.

4. To allow individuals to obtain a commercial license thru registration and fee payment to commercially grow, distribute or dispense marijuana for the purpose of recreational or medical marijuana use. 4a. To limit grow facility size to no larger than 1600 square feet not including store front. 4c. Sales from commercial grow facilities
will be taxable as well as sales to individuals from distributors/dispensaries.

5. To allow recreational users to home grow up to 12 plants and possess no more than 2.5 ounces of marijuana for personal use, but illegal to sell , transport or distribute marijuana and / or any derivative components of marijuana such as edibles/ oils in any way to any person regardless of medical status.

6. To allow the legal possession and use of any paraphernalia related to the use of recreational marijuana.

7. Recreational users must register and pay a fee to obtain a permit for home grows.

8. To allow registered marijuana cafes where marijuana can be purchased in small quantities not to exceed 4 grams per person and consumed on the premises. Cafes must register and pay a separate fee for a license to sell marijuana for on premises consumption. Cafes that sell alcohol of any kind are prohibited from marijuana licensure.

9. Prohibit public use of marijuana except those places allowed under section 8.
