Stop Maria Soledad Leon Gonzalez Deportation to Venezuela

Dear Marco Rubio

My name is Carlos E. Acuna and I am writing you on behalf of my Wife Maria Soledad Leon Gonzalez(A#088610386) currently detained by ICE on Broward transitional Center on Deerfield, FL waiting to be deported to her country of origin Venezuela.

My wife comes to the USA on 2007 fleeing Hugo Chavez dictatorship and applies for political asylum. My wife was the presidential fly attendant for Hugo Chavez. Because a poor and unethical representation from a lawyer than took my wife’s money, the political asylum was denied.

Adding insult to injury this lawyer took more money presented appeals without any substantiations an then disappear leavening my wife without options and no more possibilities of appeals. Needless to say, today my wife is waiting to be deported to Venezuela facing torture and possibly dead.

Hugo Chavez has been quote that the Venezuelans been deported back are been train by the CIA to destabilize his government and possibly attempt to assassinate him, in the case of my wife this is particularly scary since she worked with la “Casa militar” (Military house) as her role of presidential flight hostess. Maria and I got married 2 years ago after falling hopelessly in love.

Since, I am US citizen, a conservative, a tax payer and voter we did apply for an I-130 USCIS for which the appointment is schedule on 15 days on 07/25/2012 upon the interview our lawyer is falling joining motion to introduce our marriage as new evidence on my wife’s case. We are asking you to please help us to stop my wife deportation and release her for her detention at least temporarily that way we can go to our Immigration appointment on the 25th of this month and present the joint motion.

My wife do not have a criminal record and has a clear path to become resident to this country in virtue to been marry to an American citizen. Please senator Rubio help us.
