- The Town of Plattsburgh’s tentative budget increases overall spending by 4.28% resulting is a 1.2% tax-levy increase for 2013.
- The result is that your property taxes will go up AGAIN in 2013.
- The Town of Plattsburgh has a $4,600,000.00 surplus versus a $15,505,391.00 budget. They have a surplus of OUR money.
- That surplus represents 29.66% of the 2012 budget. We have been over taxed!

We, the undersigned, call on the Officials of the Town of Plattsburgh to freeze 2013 spending at 2012 levels. We also request that Town Officials do not increases tax rates or assessed values.
