Being fundamental to the prosperity of mankind, wildlife is in danger. We are in the process of a mass extinction with over 98,500 species on the IUCN Red List.
Hunting and intensive farming are devastating wildlife sanctuaries with huge chain effects on biodiversity and the environment around the world.
Pesticides, which helped boost cereal and fruit production, also killed bees and insects in large numbers. Meanwhile, increased irrigation, diversion of the watercourse, roads, trains, etc. are being designed with no respect for natural assets. This primitive approach may give rise to a sense of growth and prosperity in the short term, but the long-term impacts will be desertification and death.
Recent news about Botswana permit for elephant trophy hunting, is a sign in the wrong direction. Botswana is home to more than 130,000 elephants - about a third of Africa's savanna elephants. Killing Botswana's elephants will end all expectations of future regeneration of the specie.
United Nations must face hunting as a serious problem, acting to manage wildlife sanctuaries worldwide promoting wildlife valuation ,

Wild fauna and flora are key assets to mitigate climate changes.
However, NOBEL ANIMAL SPECIES that live in non-urban habitats ARE BEING HUNTED just for entertainment or to pave the way for primitive intensive farming.
This petition is a shout out loud to the UNITED NATIONS (as a guardian of humanity), TO BE MORE ACTIVE BY CONDEMNING OUTDATED BEHAVIOURS, UNLEASHING A GLOBAL POLITICAL EVOLUTION FOR THE PROMOTION OF ECONOMICAL CULTURAL AND SCIENTIFIC IMPORTANCE OF NOBLE WILD SPECIES.
