We object to the insidious and repetitious broadcast of gambling advertisements during the telecast of the Rugby League on channel 9, GEM or Foxtel and the normalising of gambling and sport.
We demand that ALL gambling advertising be ceased during the telecast of the NRL on Australian TV. We object to the normalising of gambling and sport. We object to the unregulated access to children who are subjected to the saturation campaign enticing viewers to gamble on Rugby League.
We also want to watch this great sport without the annoyance of being bombarded with betting odds all through the game... JUST STOP IT!
Just stop the Tom Waterhouse and Jamie Rogers saturation; and also all who will come after them!
