Craigslist helps contravene Canadian employment standards by helping would be employers hire a remote workforce willing to supply cut rate work using their own facility with no job security, benefits, or even a living wage.
Craigslist continues to promote the gross exploitation of workers, and writers, by facilitating these atrocious employment practices.
It's time CL required employment posters to meet minimum standards.
We want our government to require Craigslist to ensure that employment and job postings on Craigslist meet provincial employment standards for compensation and working conditions, including minimum wage standards.
