The Dwellingup Tourist and Information Centre has long been providing assistance to an ever growing number of tourists and also functioning as a small museum containing information on the history of Dwellingup.
The premises was built by volunteers in the community who have dedicated much of their time and energy for the above mentioned purpose. Recently it has been decided by the Shire Of Murray that the centre is no longer a viable proposition and that we must either amalgamate with Pinjarra Visitor Centre or turn the centre over to private enterprise leaving an empty building with no place for the small museum.
We the undersigned call on the Shire of Murray to stop closure of Dwellingup Tourist and Information Centre and that it remain at its current location.
