I feel since the state allows a child to choose at a certain age which parent they want to live with. That parent should not be obligated to pay child support. Ex: If a mother has had a child from birth to the age that the gov't says that the child may choose which parent they want to live with.

If the child chooses the father then I don't feel it is right that the government forces the mother pay child support. Now if the mother was unfit such as, physical child abuse, no food, shelter, or clothes then I can understand. But not because the father spoils the child and allows the child to have their own way.

"We, the undersigned, call on the Tennessee State Legislative to Stop the enforcement of child support on parents who the child no longer wish to live. Due to the child wanting their way with the opposite parent.

If the child decides to live with the non custodial parent after the custodian parent has had the child from birth until the age that the courts says the child is able to decide which parent they would like to live with.

The only way a parent should be forced if the child was in danger, or physically abused. This petition should go back to last 7 years from the date it was filed."
