Wild Brumbies are being unfairly shot from the air, then left to die. This is a horrible practice and has awful consequences. There is evidence of a mare that gave birth while she died. The foal was left with a dead mother. Days later, he was found dehydrated, starving and with a broken leg. The poor foal was in such bad condition that he had to be euthanased.
Stallion brumbies spend their entire lives building an established herd and all this can be destroyed in a second.
We, the undersigned, call on the State and Australian governments to stop the inhumane cull of Australian Wild Brumbies, and replace the practice with sustainable methods that allow the horses peace and a life!
