Petition Background (Preamble):
The New Zealand Government has decided to push through reforms to sell off assests currently owned by the people of New Zealand.
These assets are currently returning profits which is beneficial for the country.
Once these assets are sold to overseas investors profits that are currently returned to the New Zealand economy will be taken overseas.

Petition:
We the undersigned endorse this petition to lobby the Government to refrain from selling off New Zealand assets which in the long term will be detrimental to all people of New Zealand.
All assets should be kept to ensure all profits are retained for the benefit of all New Zealanders.
