Residents of St Cyrils Road, Stonehouse have suffered in relative silence for years as the only street in surrounding 1/2 mile radius not to benefit from Resident Only Parking Permits.
Driveway access is blocked, Cars from neighbouring Streets not wishing to purchase available permits abuse the ability to park for free. Workers in local shops and establishments park for free for the day all this while residents many with young children cannot find room to park their vehicles in the same street as their own property.
The local authority seem reluctant to react or consider implementing parking Permits despite the detrimental effect this must be having on their Car Parks revenue.
We, the undersigned, call on all parties concerned to urgently review the implementation of Residents Only Parking Permits in St Cyril's Road, Stonehouse GL10 2QG.
