Seasonal traffic on East Palmetto has grown an average of 11% every year since 2007.
It's time to call a halt to this ever worsening, congested condition.
We, the undersigned residents of Boca Raton, Florida, respectfully request that our City Council, the CRA and the City Traffic Engineer require all items on a 'Petition For Site Plan Approval' be completed prior to consideration for approval.
In particular - ITEM #9:
"That five (5) hard copies of a traffic study and or parking accumulation study, and two (2) electronic pdf. files of the traffic study/or parking study and site plan (11"x17"), if required by City Traffic Engineer.
We ask that all Traffic Studies be made available for public inspection, that NO changes to current roads be allowed in order to provide a 'Completed Study' to be presented before the BOARD - and that surrounding neighborhood streets be protected for "Local Traffic Only" and not used as a 'pass-through' for a proposed Development.
