Cigarette butts are the most littered item in our environment and take many years to break down.
Littered butts eventually make their way down stormdrains into our waterways where they are toxic to wildlife and other water organisms.

Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on our senators to pass legislation requiring cigarette producers to provide a foil envelop with every pack of cigarettes.
This envelop is a personal butt container (ashtray) and should have a "don't litter your butts" message on it.
