As residents of Hanselpacker Road and surrounding areas we are concerned about the speed of cars going up and down our road. We are aware that there is a "thrill hill" that people try to "jump". However this is unacceptable in such a densely child populated area.
Although this road is very busy with vehicle traffic it is also very busy with pedestrian traffic. The road alone has 8 children and including Lilac Court there are 12 under the age of 15. There are also many people who walk Hanselpacker Road daily with dogs and children.
We the undersigned call on the Village of Harvey to acknowledge our concerns and take it upon themselves to have a speed control mechanism put into place immediately.
