I am a 14 year old boy from the area of Pontyclun. I like to go skateboarding with my friends but the problem is we get kicked out of everywhere we go, either by angry people or even police, when asked to move on we get treated like yobbos and told to go to our local skatepark which we don't actually have.
Recently I asked a policeman if he could do anything about getting a skatepark in the area and he just gave me 101 reasons why there is no way we can although I know this is not the case, I even wrote in to the local council and they to gave me reasons why it is not possible.
We, the undersigned, call on Rhondda Cynon Taf County Council to look into building a skatepark in Pontyclun or Miskin as it would be a great asset to the area and would be welcomed by the youth and seniors of RCT alike.
