Currently, there are thousands of children within our community that do not have a place to conduct games or practices. There are also two non-profit organizations in our community that do not have a place to conduct games or practices. They are sharing school county properties.
Shady Spring Little League will not have access to the current fields when the approved expansion of the local school takes place in 2010.
A Shady Spring Youth Complex Community Park is the only solution to our situation. We currently have property pledged to the Shady Spring Youth Complex and need to start the next steps.
We the citizens of the Shady Spring District are signing this petition for any assistance from local, state, and federal agencies can provide by the way of grant writing and other avenues to help us make this a reality.
