The Unionville Go station is an easy target for vehicular robbery. Multiple instances are sighted monthly and yet Go Transit does not take any action.
We, the undersigned, call on Go Transit/Metrolinx to assign 1 (one) security vehicle to the lot of the Unionville Go station between the hours of 9 am and 6 pm.
As customers, we are paying a monthly fee to ride on the Go system but getting no protection for our vehicles. Robberies are increasing and yet Go Transit/Metrolinx continues to turn their back to the issue. As of now, this has become too much of a liability for us and if something is not done about the problem we will have no choice but to abandon using Go Transit.
