My daughter was recently held up and robbed at knife point whilst at work in Betting Shop owned by BetFred.
BetFred insist one is not required because this shop is in a so called ‘low crime’ area.
This Betting Shop has been held up several times and such Screens should be a requirement of their Licensing.
All Betting Shops should be required to install Security Screens to protect their employees.
We, the undersigned, call on the UK Government to make it a condition of Gambling Licenses that all Betting Shops are required to install Security Screens.
