Second Chance For Convicted Felons (Housing, Career and Job Opportunities)

Hi World.

My name is Sherika Cooper, I have a criminal background which started when I was a teenager that crossed over to my adult life. I've mad a few illegal mistakes growing up, hanging around with the wrong people, trying to make fast and easy money to take care of myself and my kids and ignoring the positive impact my family was trying to push up on me.

Growing up in a small city surrounded by No Opportunities and No Where to Start. I am trying everyday To Keep Faith, to Believe and Pray for a Second Chance; not only for Me but for My three daughters as well but this Justice System/Rules and Regulations are Pushing me further away in Disbelief. I need the World's help because I know that I am Not Alone. Together let's Make a Difference.

I am starting this petition on behalf of myself, Sherika Cooper and any other Felon/Convicted Felon who truly deserves a second chance of living the right way. We served our time, whether it was probation, house arrest, prison, jail, community control or drug court, Why do we continue to suffer?

We are denied living arrangements, jobs, even careers because of our criminal background and I feel that is very unfair. Any person who has tried to astray from their past has been forced to continue breaking the law because we are denied the right to want more.
