Yes to Secession of the State of Texas

Target: All Citizens of TEXAS
Region: United States of America
Background (Preamble):
“We” as the people and leaders in whence “We” have come from and inherited from our forefathers 233 years ago following the Declaration of Independence, and 222 years ago after ratification of our Constitution. Fifty States govern America, not by Federal force, and the government “United States” is a body guided by these states.
In light of this fact it puts what our forefathers intended in to a larger and broader perspective. It means “We” are the United States of America, NOT this IS the United States of America. Our forefathers wanted unification and rule by many, NOT unification by rule of one. The executive branch has decided to much without the approval of Congress.

Petition:
I wish for Texas Citizens to petition for secession of the State of Texas. It was once said by our forefathers that it was illegal to annex a Sovereign NATION, one like the Republic of Texas.
There was no treaty but a joint resolution by Congress and most Texans in 1850 voted to NOT be part of the U.S.A. My great great great cousin John Quincy Adams argued this point on the senate floor and won the debate yet some years later Texas was illegally annexed by joint resolution of Congress (Federal Govt) not by Texas Govt.
I have seen no documents that show or resources that prove the legality of the annexation of Texas. So I petition...... let our people and our own economy stand with out rule or effect from the Federal Government. Let Texas be Texas once again.
