Since the 1998 School Safety has been in transition to turn over to NYPD and since then every year School Safety's tasks and role has increased. It is the Union's responsibility to help School Safety define and Protect our roles with in.

It has been disappointing to see all the division and distrust that has formed within the years among School Safety Agents towards the Union.

School Safety Agents are requesting that the following takes place:

1- A Quick Resolution to the Wages Lawsuit

2- Merit Raises With in School Safety

3- Additional Hiring of Agents (we are at below minimum manning).
