Say No to Rent Increases at Avalon Centerpoint

Background (Preamble):
This petition is in protest to the yearly rent increases imposed upon the residents of Avalon Centerpoint without regard to the current economic status of the country or concern for residents.
Soaring gas prices, the decline of the housing market, and unemployment rates all are valid reasons why continual rent increases are not merited.

Petition:
Based on other apartment complexes in the immediate area, the rent increase (this cycle topping 5% in many situations) is NOT justified as other complexes have better amenities including pools, larger fitness centers, less car break-ins/thefts, and better parking scenarios for their residents to include resident only entrance/exits and more resident only assigned spaces.
Additionally, the rents for similar (and sometimes larger) apartments are already less than the current cost of Avalon Centerpoint units.
We, as residents of Avalon Centerpoint, hereby object to the rent increases proposed in our lease renewals.
We ask that management make the concern of their residents a swift priority so that we may continue to enjoy our homes at a FAIR price.
