Washington State University has just purchased the building where Zoe Underground is located. The sale will be completed soon after May 8, 2014.

In spite of WSU Administration allowing Zoe Underground to fulfill its current lease, which expires December 31st, there is no current assurance that Zoe Underground will be allowed to renew its lease, remain on campus, and/or remain in business.

This petition address the concerns by the students of WSU regarding the actions of the Administration.

We, the STUDENTS, STAFF, FACULTY, and ALUMNI of Washington State University call on the WSU ADMINISTRATION and the WSU BOARD OF REGENTS to make true on their agreement to allow ZOE UNDERGROUND to remain on the premises until the end of their current lease, December 31, 2014, at which time we call upon the New Owners of the Building, WASHINGTON STATE UNIVERSITY, to enter into a new and mutually favorable lease with ZOE UNDERGROUND, either in its current location, 720 NE Thatuna, or another on campus, to ensure that Present and Future Cougars will Enjoy a Positive, Longstanding WSU Tradition and Experience for years to come.
