搶救新光戲院，承傳粵劇文化！ Save Sunbeam Theatre

我們要求香港政府認真的搶救香港的粵劇聖地北角新光戲院。不要讓香港的粵曲粵劇界失去一個活生生的粵曲粵劇生態系統。香港的粵曲粵劇界和其他劇團（如話劇團，棟篤笑等）不能承受數年沒有足夠的演出場地。粵曲粵劇界不是求政府施捨，我們只是要求有演出的場地。

We petition that Hong Kong Government should take seriously measures to save Sunbeam Theatre, the theatre in North Point, Hong Kong that has long been a revered venue for Cantonese opera performances. We cannot afford to lose a working and vibrant “eco-system” upon that the Hong Kong Cantonese Opera circle relies.

We cannot afford to have a hiatus of several years in which there are not enough venues for Cantonese operas or other small-scale theatrical productions (dramas, stand-up comedies, etc).

We are not demanding charity; we are only asking for a sufficient provisioning of performance venues.
