Parkside Bistro is being threatend by the city of Coeurd'Alene to fit there agenda for what ever reason. the city claims that it will take control of the land that the business has existed in.
Parkside is a landmark for the people of cda (coeurd'alene) and needs people to express that it should not be put out of business just to fit the city's agenda.
History - Parkside bistro has a long history since the 1970's and earlier. It the the only pub that borders a city park east of florida that we can see. It has been part of the local fabric and if it is closed it can not be started again.
Lake city developement and the city have decided that once the railroad abandons the property that the business has to go.
Parkside Bistro would have to vacate with no money for doing so and use what is a gem of a business for some work shop or some waste of space.
Please do not let this happen for many reason's. We want Parkside Bistro to continue business and can't afford to lose such a unique place. unless we just want a bunch of chain pub's and have CDA loss such a great place for locals and tourists.
We, the undersigned, call on the city of Coeurd'Alene to Keep Parkside Bistro in Business. We want whatever it takes not to let Parkside Bistro go out of business.
The City should look at all the possibilites that can make sure this does not happen. Long term lease or join ventures should be looked at.
We would like the City Council and the City Attorney to realize the benefit that a place like this has to this town.
