Hills District Kennel & Training Club Inc have been utilising the "Dog Section" of Castle Hill Showground since 1980. After gaining affiliation in 1982 this allowed us to begin hosting Breed Shows and Obedience Trials.
Over the years our Club has donated large amounts of money to Hills Shire Council for improvements to the grounds and surrounding buildings. In 1999, we provided $20,578 for improvements to the George Bell building. In 2004, we again donated a large sum of money for a new building to be built that we now call "Our Club House".
Castle Hill Showground is "OUR" home ground and it's time that Hills District Kennel & Training Club Inc be recognised for what we have done and continue to provide for the Showground and its community.
We, Hills District Kennel & Training Club Inc, petition to save our Dog Training Ground as the Council eyes off Castle Hill Showground for re-development.
