~Using less energy
*Turning off lights when not in use
*Turning off plugs when not in use
*Turn off your computers, copiers and printers when you're not using them.
*Close the windows and doors.This also saves heat and
makes a huge difference
*Pick Energy Star. Yeah, they're more expensive, but Energy Star fridges, freezers, air conditioners, washers/dryers and water heaters can pay you back your extra investment in a few years because they use much less energy.

* Don't run water when you're not actually using it
*Fix a leak when you see it

~Save Trees
*Subscribe to the online version of your favorite publications
*Receive and pay your bills electronically. Check with your bank.
*Recycle. And buy paper that has been recycled and made without chlorine bleach.
*Hit "Delete." Don't print out every email you get. Delete the ones you don't need, and save the rest on your hard drive.

~STOP DRIVNG LIKE A JERK
*Buy a car that uses less gas, or, better yet, buy a hybrid.
*Take it easy on the gas pedal. Rapid acceleration and last-minute braking drain your tank.
*Don't speed. It brings down the number of miles you get per gallon.
*Carpool. It saves money and cuts pollution. Plus, you get to use carpool lanes. Sweet.
*Keep the tires on your car inflated.
*Don't idle the engine for more than a minute.
* Check your tires and your car's air filter every month.
