This is a petition to campaign for 5 post offices in Shepway District to remain open - these are Saltwood, Littlestone, Seabrook, Shorncliffe and Enbrook Valley.
These offices are currently threatened with closure by the Post Office in proposals published on 2nd October 2007.
We petitioners call on the Post Office to keep the Post Offices open in Saltwood, Littlestone, Seabrook, Shorncliffe and Enbrook Valley.
We also urge the Post Office to give postmasters and sub postmasters more commercial freedom to provide goods and services to local people, to help make Post Offices more viable in the future.
