Please help us to keep Glenora District High School secondary classes open, The Tasmanian State government has informed the public that 20 Tasmanian schools are facing closure Glenora District High School is one of them, this will not just affect the students and family's in the area but the whole community of the Derwent valley.
Its closure will result in job losses for not only some teachers, but also for support staff that are employed in the office, as teacher aids, cleaners, grounds keepers, and bus contractors, The domino effect will cripple small businesses resulting in further unemployment and put added pressure on already struggling families.
The closure of the high school sector of Glenora District High School will without a doubt, cripple the Upper Derwent Valley. Please show your support by signing today.
