In 2006, Telltale Games released an episodic series based on Steve Purcell's Sam and Max. The games have been highly anticipated by fans, since Lucasarts cancelled "Sam and Max: Freelance Police" back in 2004, and stopped selling "Sam and Max Hit The Road" in the United States. Both of those games featured well-known actors voicing the characters - Bill Farmer as Sam, and Nick Jameson as Max.

But neither of those voice actors were in any of the episodes of the episodic series. Telltale, instead, chose to cast cheap, lesser-known generic actors that sound nothing at all like the characters they are supposed to be voicing! Many Sam and Max fans felt that the new voices were worse than the original voices they were used to. But some people actually liked the new voices, and because of this, Telltale kept those voices in the games. For at least two years, not a single Sam and Max product sold in the United States has the characters voiced by their original actors. Also, on Telltale's official forum, some of the Telltale employees have posted that they hate the original actors!

Why Telltale presumed that they needed to change the actors is unclear as well as why the original voice actors have not voiced a complaint.

So this petition is to voice that complaint against Telltale and to urge Telltale to re-release the games with the original voice actors.

We, the undersigned, ask Telltale to stop discriminating against fans of Bill Farmer and Nick Jameson and allow those voice actors to reprise the roles of their characters once again.
