Minchinbury residents, particularly those with children, are calling on Blacktown City Council to place a safety crossing somewhere in the vicinity of the Minchinbury Shopping Centre for pedestrians, particularly parents with children and children by themselves, to cross in safety.

We, the undersigned, call on Blacktown City Council to consult with Minchinbury residents and place a safety crossing somewhere in the vicinity of the Minchinbury Shopping Centre to provide for safe crossing of the main road in that vicinity, in particular, during the hours when hundreds of parents are dropping off and picking up their children from the Minchinbury primary school and have the need to cross the main road in that vicinity.
