Safeguard Our Families & Community from Oil Drilling Dangers

We, the undersigned concerned citizens and residents of Los Angeles County, demand that the County Board of Supervisors assure our health, safety and property values by:

1) requiring a full, comprehensive and independent study (EIR) of the actual oil field/land with all appropriate agencies providing data and comments BEFORE adopting ANY policy, ordinance/CSD related to oil and gas operations in the Baldwin Hills Oil Field;

2) that PXP be adequately insured for a catastrophic earthquake/subsidence/toxic cloud/explosive failure of the Baldwin Hills Oil Field and;

3) to solicit a pledge from DOGGR not to permit any new wells until this CSD is resolved.
