For far too long he has languished in the shadows of Terry Pratchett and J K Rowling it is time he had his place in the sun and in the heart of the nation.
We, the undersigned, call on the British Government to award best selling novelist Robert Rankin an MBE for his services to the writing of far fetched fiction and making his readership laugh.
