Rob Burrow is an English former professional rugby league footballer, who spent 16 years playing for the Leeds Rhinos in the Super League, An England and Great Britain representative, he spent his entire professional career with Leeds.
Sadly Rob has since been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease which will eventually take his life at a young age.
This petition is to hopefully have Rob, who has met this disease head on and with strong determination, recognised amongst the contenders for the 2020 BBC Sports Personality of the Year award.
We the undersigned request that the inspirational Rob Burrow be considered for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year accolade for 2020.
