Cut Back Riverside Oak Trees

To the rear of numbers 42, 44 & 46 Riverside are several large Oak trees. Unfortunately these trees are becoming a pain. As you can appreciate we are now deep into winter and the leaves are still falling.

I myself have already spent to much time clearing leaves from my back garden and unblocking the gutters. This is not a problem for me, some of my neighbours are a little less agile though. So they are left with no choice but to pay someone to do this for them.

I'm sure you can appreciate over the winter will soon add up. If the leaves are not cleared away gutters and drains become blocked and path ways become slippery. It is not only in the winter that we suffer. During the summer the trees block so much light that we are having to use our internal lights during the day increasing our electricity bills and in today's climate both financially and environmentally this is unacceptable. I am not asking for the trees to be destroyed far from it only to be cut back.
