They are raising the lot rent by $20.00 this year, which in the past was only $10.00 a year. For many years they have made promises to do repairs to very unsafe steps, sidewalks and porches.
They have not made good on any of those promises. They have a lot of potholes in the roads that are destroying our vehicles. To avoid the potholes people are driving up over the curb, ruining the lawns and causing a great hazard to all. There are steps, sidewalks, porches and curbs that are crumbling, creating a great safety hazard for the many children and elderly people living in this community. Many of whom used to be proud to say they lived here.
Something needs to be done and it needs to be done now.
We, the undersigned, call on American Residential Communities / River Oaks Estates to take care of the problems with the deteriorating streets, sidewalks, steps and porches that plague our community and threaten the safety of all who live here. Young and old alike.
