Background (Preamble):
All dogs must be on leads with a competent person when walking them in a public place or you get fined $220. A dog that attacks when protecting its property $550 and animal destroyed and yet the councils have not got any qualms about bludging fees out of dog owners each year while at the same time making it more and more restrictive to exercise and keep your dog.
Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on the council to give dogs some rights back and provide some local beach area to take them "off-lead" for a swim and parks to chase balls/frisbies in the Illawarra.
