Poor officiating resulted in a Canada loss to the USA in the Olympics Women's Soccer semi-final on August 6, 2012.

This petition attempts to convince the International Olympic Committee to reverse the decision or re-play the game in whole or in part.

We, the undersigned, call on the International Olympic Committee to either reverse the outcome of the August 6, 2012 Women's soccer semi-final, or allow the game to be replayed in whole or in part due to poor officiating and incorrect calls that directly affected the outcome of the game.

Specifically, the "delay of game" call and subsequent "hand ball" call resulted in the tying goal when both calls were unwarranted.

Such egregious decisions brought the officiating and game result into disrepute and resulted in an unfair Canada loss.

We ask the IOC to correct this situation by reversing the decision or allowing the two teams to replay the game in whole or in part.

We respectfully request that all Canadians and others, who saw this travesty, sign this petition.
