Dear All,
If you have found yourself on this page then you clearly have an appreciation for our local heritage. The Old Mill in Willaston in Cheshire, has stood for over 200 years and has been an industrial icon of great importance for the surrounding areas.
This petition has been started to show just how much local interest there is in this project, to support our application for a Heritage Lottery Grant so we can carry out vital restoration works.
By signing this petition you will be showing your support for the much needed restoration to different areas of the Mill such as the original Kentish style roof which I'm afraid is half the roof it used to be... (literally) and to rebuild the incredible sails that once stood proud above the horizon line of Willaston.
